I was given heavy doses of tetracycline as a kid to treat salmonella. As a result, I have terrible teeth. I have had a root canal  in almost every tooth in my mouth.  That being the case, I needed a top notch dentist. Dr. Richard Volk is that man!  He’s the only dentist I know who has figured out a way to apply Novacaine painlessly, and whereas other dentists have taken almost 2 hours to access and remove one root for me, I have seen Dr. Volk do it in under two minutes time after time. Every time I have a dental emergency, Dr. Volk is there to remove the pain and to give me back my smile. Thank God for Richard Volk and his amazing talents!  If you look in his office, you will see several awards that say, “Richard Volk, top 2% of dentists” for that given year. Wonderful staff, too!

Fantastic dentist with great skill and depth of knowledge. He can handle the most difficult of procedures. His crowns are works of art. Wonderful staff happy to help.

PUBLIC INFO: "Richard Volk, Bartlett – dental license (019-016900) placed on indefinite probation for a minimum of two years after submit successful proof of capacity to perform and controlled substance licenses (319-006559 & 319-006656) relinquished for a minimum of two years after multiple prescription requests were issued using Respondent's controlled substance license numbers by Respondent's Office Manager for non-existing patients, patients who had not been in Respondent's care for extended periods and no longer under the Respondent's care, and all
without Respondent's authorization. Additionally, a review of Respondent's dental records revealed that the quality of Respondent's treatment and care had diminished in the previous year" - 2013

They do good work but they never have the tools they need to do the job. I am getting a implant in and they order what they need for the job but then on the day I go in they dont have all they need. The work they do is good but the need to organize their stuff better
