Story

Dr. Russo is an independent orthopedic surgeon. He graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2009 and completed his internship at Louisiana State University Charity Hospital in 2010. Upon completion of his residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2014 he went on to complete his fellowship at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

He has received several awards, honors and recognition including Resident Paper of the Year through the Louisiana Orthopedic Association in 2012, 2013, and 2014, Intern of the Year Nominee at LSU Interim Public Hospital in 2010, and AOA (Alpha Omega Alpha) Medical Honor Society in 2008.

Dr. Russo is currently board eligible in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.

Dr. Russo is a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon who trained at LSU and then at Houston taking care of professional sports teams such as the Houston Texans, Astros, and Rockets as well as Rice University Athletics. First timei went to him at new orleans east he took very good care,after i had been to more then 5 doctors they couldnt make me feel the way he did job well done

This is a beautiful new clinic in the heart of Lakeview.  Located across from Lakeview Grocery on Harrison Ave., our clinic contains state of the art equipment for stem cell therapy and has a beautiful view of Lakeview if there is any wait.

We have an orthopedic surgeon at this location able to see patients Mon-Wed-Fri and another urgent care specialist available if it cannot wait.  (Same Day appointments available!)

We have on site capabilities for PRP and stem-cell therapy.  We also have X-Ray, a bone density scanner (DEXA), and ultrasound.

I just called because of all the great reviews. The receptionist is incredibly rude, was talking to someone else then asked me to repeat myself. I thought "I have a broken leg" is pretty simple to understand. 

Who knows is the doctor is any good, couldn't get past the phone troll.

Have tried numerous times to make an appointment but no one answers the phone and all you get is an answering machine.  Have left message and no one returns the call.  My son apparently has a broken finger and wants to get in with Dr. Russo because he has seen him before but we are going to have to move on due to the lack of someone being able to make appointments.
