New insurance carrier I got last December lists him as my primary care doctor.  So I went to get a med check and refills for the prescriptions I’ve been taking for several years.  He cut the dosages in half.  Didn’t tell me why.  Then following month he refused to even fill them.  What?  No communications.  He just leave the “care” part out of the “Health”.  Looking for new doctor.

Had to get a referral  to see a specialist. So I went to Dr. Bhatt and he wrote a different diagnosis than my first diagnosis from my previous doctor.  The referral was no good, the specialist did not take my insurance. So I found a specialist in my network but Dr. Bhatt just ignored it and blew me off.   I paid cash to go to the specialist and found out that my original doctor was correct. Stay away from this guy, he is arrogant, will not listen to you, and Obviously not trained well.

As a new patient with no problems except getting some Rx refills, he scheduled a bunch of unnecessary tests, including a 4-hour nuclear heart stress test.  I overheard him scheduling another new patient for the same tests, all without seeming to be his reason for being there too.  Then he changed the dosages on my prescriptions without even telling me.  Very arrogant and out of touch.  On another visit I sat in the waiting room for a very long period of time in the afternoon with many other people while we listened to some kind of party going on for one of the staff members in the office.  One of the people waiting got up and asked the receptionist why his appt had been scheduled during an office party.  Good question.

Dr. Bhatt is very caring and thorough. Usually don't have to wait too long either.
