Dr. Levin on Dec.5th performed a total Shoulder Implant on my left shoulder. The operation was a complete success. I had limited mobility with in 24 hours with little or no pain. I stopped pain medication on the third day. I feel great ! Prior to the operation I had a pain rate of 7 to 10 sleepless nights caused by having no cartilage and arthritis throughout. The staff was so professional and caring it made the time in the hospital feel like family was caring for you. This was the second shoulder replacement implant the first was my right shoulder on August 30, 2016. My right shoulder is 100% I am excited to get through therapy beginning tomorrow already and to get back to the gym and ready for spring golf. Thank you again Dr. Levin.

I had great outcomes from surgery with Dr. Levin last year. He was very polite, and answered all my questions without hesitation.

Very informative and honest during the consultation, we look forward to a successful right shoulder replacement operation for my grandmother in the new year. His staff were very polite and answered all questions. Will update the review after her operation. ** Update 5/2/2017** so the initial reason to see Dr. Steven Levin was for my grandmother's right shoulder. Due to severe osteoarthritis and repetitive tear and wear her only option was to completely replace the right shoulder. January 2017 At 80 yrs old Dr Steven Levin successfully replaced her shoulder. Before the operation she could not move her arm upwards, she could not tie her hair, and had difficulty reaching anywhere high. After the surgery now in May she feels a complete difference, and is able to move her arm and giving her independence back. The team at Dr Levin is wonderful, after her surgery she was sent for Physical Therapy for 4 months at Glenview again the staff were very helpful and incredible thanks Holly! She could have not been more thankful for everything going so well. Being that this was a 3+ year search in trying injections, physical therapy and trying everything but the operation I personally cannot thank you enough Dr for all that you had given back to her.

Dr Levin has done both rotators and 1knee for me over the last several years. As a career firefighter, it was very important that I was able to continue working, while maintaining strength and flexibility after my surgeries. He succeeded every time. Dr Levin was amazing throughout all three procedures. I have full range of motion and strength with no more pain. I would recommend him to anyone who needs orthopaedic surgery. He is great at what he does, and really cares about his patients. His office staff is just as great.

This guy is nothing short of amazing. Had three anchors put into my left shoulder as part of a labrum repair procedure. No swelling, no bruising, no major pain issues. In fact, pain never got worse than a 6. I can't recommend him enough. He's a pro, super cordial, will give you every bit of information that you need, and will make you feel comfortable during the entire process. Also - his team is amazing as well. Seriously, save yourself the worry and work with Dr. Levin and his team.
