Came here for lunch with my coworkers yesterday. The foods were good and place was clean. The waitress Jenny was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return to this restaurant next time I visit this area!
My family and I have been coming to here ever since 2010 and there food is ALWAYS hot if you dine in or take out! Today, we brought my Grandma in and she enjoyed it and you don’t leave there hungry and that’s for sure! The owner and staff are really nice and courteous by giving us more white rice to go along with our leftovers to take home! This is one of the places that make Channahon a great place to eat at!

Called to order delivery was told it'll be 1hr 20min but after reading the reviews I wanted to try it so I ordered. Lady who took my order hung up after taking my credit card # without a goodbye or anything while I was trying to ask for utensils. Showed up 1hr 40mins which still didn't bother me because I was looking forward to the great food. I was so disappointed. Either they haven't changed their oil in a year or they are using motor oil. the sweet and sour chicken tasted like bad oil. I threw that out and decided to try the General Tso Chicken and that burnt motor oil taste over powered the sauce. Tried the chicken fried rice and the rice was so mushy. The only possible good food would be the white rice but was turned off by tasting the rest of it so that went in the garbage too. I do NOT recommend eating here.
Food is ok most of the time but the customer service is. terrible. I thought it was just me having a bad day then I checked the reviews. So wish I had done it sooner. I was not the only one given a “take it or leave it attitude”. My opinion is that they feel that since they are the only oriental restaurant in Minooka they can treat the customer however they chose. Which makes me wonder if they prepare the food with the same attitude. As I said, “ my order tasted as if the pork was very old”. I would recommend going to Channahon it is only $2.00 more for delivery and worth the peace of mind not worry about if you have to send it back or worse get sick. Ps: they appear to go out of their way to hide their bad reviews.
We have been told that this is the best Chinese food in our area, these people were not joking. I ordered the Kung pao chicken and my wife had the chicken and snap peas. We also ordered the egg rolls, which were equally as amazing! Then portion sizes were great to have enough for 2 or 3 sittings, so we can have lunch tomorrow and the day after. There is something on this LARGE menu for everyone. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Just be aware that they are very busy, Sunday nights, take out 40 mins / delivery was hour and thirty mins. Obviously, depends on the day but make sure you call ahead!
We have been eating here for years, usually inside restaurant or pick up. Today we tried delivery and it was a disaster. I’m only giving a 2 rating due to the previous experiences of quality food and In-restaurant experience. I phoned back after 45 minutes to be sure the food was not delivered to the wrong address. It is a 7 minute drive from restaurant to our house. If it will be an hour to deliver my order, tell me when I place the order. I feel that is common courtesy. If there was an app, or texting service, you could have updated the ETA. Offering solutions. In the era of multiple communication avenues, it’s seems possible you could incorporate one. Food is one aspect of the experience, customer service is another aspect. Disappointed. Thank Goodness the quality of the food is consistent, and today it was as well.
Dragon Inn has the best Chinese food in Will County, Illinois, bar none. The Spicy Beef is my favorite. They make great Pot Stickers and great Egg Drop Soup too.
Our first visit. Nice, broad menu with generous portions. We really like this restaurant.
We ordered here for the 1st time because our usual place was closed on Sunday. We ordered Orange Chicken, plenty of chicken but there was hardly any sauce with it. Chicken was good but no sauce. Crab ragoons were good, egg drop soup good. My husband & I ordered Mongolian beef, once again hardly any sauce. But the beef was good. I think I'll wait until my regular place is open next
