Every time I go to this store everyone is always so nice, but I'm writing especially because I called to see if they had something in particular, knowing I would arrive 5 minutes before closing on a Sunday.  When I got there, they were just turning off the lights but they had my products sitting at the cashier's and it was no problem to ring me out and send me on my way...I really appreciate the GREAT customer service every time I go to this store!

Best hardware store in Oak Park.  I go here rather than Lowe's or Home Depot if I can.  The guys have the knowledge of everything for home repair.  Get your keys copied here.

Love this old fashioned neighborhood store. Have shopped there many years and they have saved my life on many occasions--they manage to have what I need, when I need it, without having to drive to a big box store.

Wish they stocked more nuts and bolts in metric, but overall great selection and helpful employees.

Very Helpful. I had an "oddball" padlock (not a common "Master" brand") I needed an extra key for, and the big guy spent 10 minutes looking through all the key blanks to find the one that fit.  He then cut a perfect key for me...all that for a $1.99 sale!  You can't beat these guys ... Nobody at a big box store could..or would.. do that.
