A beautiful cemetery. Well kept with lots of shade trees, lake and hills. Access to Veterans cemetery. 150 years old. Peaceful and serene place for interment.
Don’t know what’s going on with this place but beautiful for years. Our parents buried here and now they don’t seem to care anymore. Aunt went up on Memorial Day and he said was bad, 3 months later here it is. Whoever is in charge of this place now ought to be fired.
Shame on whoever is in charge of the grounds! We went to 4 different family graves plus the other 6 we own. Out of town family said the grass was-in shambles growing over markers, came to see for myself so disappointed. It will take years to get it back in shape someone needs to look at the Optimist fields to compare have heard your budget is over a million dollars where is the tax dollars going?
We recently attended a service in The Willows section of Dry Creek about a week ago. My wife and I have plots there as well. It was in the upper 90's temperature-wise. No canopy was provided for the service. Was told canopy's were "only provided for rain". Seems odd we had octogenarians broiling in the sun with no cover. I guess heat stroke is OK but a little rain....
Recently had a full tour of cemetery, Beautiful ! Great strides in correcting previous situations. Staff very accommodating. Loved the flowers and flags
Melinda and Tyson have been very responsive and professional in working with us in our recent May 2021 loss. They listen, are sensitive to every concern, and immediately direct their attention to making the grieving and emotional swings "calm and comforting" during those days that are extremely challenging to the family facing the passing of a loved one. The DCC staff who are in the field are "like-wise skilled" in the process of site selection and the many other decisions that surround this final phase of putting your loved one to rest. Thank you from our hearts to the staff at Dry Creek Cemetery.
Fallen trees not cleaned up. Uprooted trees exposing vault in southwest area of the cemetery.
I had to arrange a burial at Dry Creek from out of state. The staff was wonderful to work with and on top of everything. Very easy to work with and exceptional customer service. Thank you Dry Creek Staff!
