I tried on a pair of boots in my size (11), and asked a woman working there if she had the same boot in a different colour in the same size. She went back to the register to "check", and when she said she had none I asked if there was another store that did. She proceeded to tell me the size 11 boots I CURRENTLY HAD ON MY FEET were not made in a size 11. Like, if you don't have any in stock that's cool but don't lie to my face about it, maybe??? When I called her on it she told me she had people to ring up and I never saw her again. Anyway, I went out to my car, found what I wanted online at a different store and bought them ✌(all the other employees I ran into were super nice and helpful, I'm leaving the 1 star review because this one lady was SO unpleasant)

Worst customer service ever. They wouldn't let me return a pair of boots that they sold to me with a few scratches on the bottom of the heel, and I didn't even notice it until I got home (it's the bottom of the shoes so it's not a big deal). So I wore it inside my house trying to break them in, but they just wouldn't fit so when I wanted to return them, they said because I wore it at home, they wouldn't take it back. And that the scratches resulted from ME wearing it at home, not them selling me a faulty product. Their return policy is under 60 days and I met that policy date, but manager kept saying that if I wanted to return them, I should've returned them within the first week after I bought them. Why does it matter when the customer returns it, as long as it's under 60 days? Then I asked them to at least price match me since it's 50% off now. The manager proceeded to say I had 14 days to price match. The cashier that cashed me out never even told me that, and no where on the receipt does it say that I had 14 days to price match. I'm never shopping from this company again, and neither will any of my family or friends. I guess I'll just leave these poorly made, bad quality, crappy boots in the back of my closet. You can see the glue sticking out all over the place, and if it wasn't because of closing time, I probably would have checked it thoroughly and wouldn't have bought these terrible quality boots from a terrible store with terrible customer service. EDIT: btw I've bought boots from marshalls that I've ACTUALLY worn OUTSIDE, not just at home, but because the jewels fell off of the boots from one week of wearing them, so I returned them 30 DAYS LATER and I still got full store credit. I even told the cashier at marshalls that I wore it outside!! But with DSW, I never even wore them outside and it's their fault that their products are bad quality and damaged.

The worst experience ever. If they had a minus sign I would use it. I went into this store after school with my friend and I have a "briefcase" type style of school bag and EVERY EMPLOYEE in there except the cashier was following us. The manager told the other girls to follow us and she kept asking us questions over and over again as if we were going to steal. So first she asked me can I help you look for a size? What occasion are you looking for? And then I started trying things on and she came right up behind me and asked me What occasion are you shopping for? Maybe I could help you find the right shoe! And I told her it's ok I am fine. Unless you want to put the shoe on for me!!! 😡 Then in the time I begin to try on more shoes she send 2 other employees to ask us AGAIN the same questions. I got so frustrated I left both shoes I picked up and I took their names down. ASHLEY, MELISSA and there is another one!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. they need training, manners and definitely common sense. I will not ever go back there. The manager and I got into a argument a I was leaving the store and I mentioned to her that I have never seen such horrible customer service and I been coming to this DSW for 4 years now. I would not take my buisness there.

I found good quality of boot for sale during March. Lot of selection on shoe, but mostly self-service bc its a type of warehouse shoe place.
