Good environment. But kind of cold in side. The temperature is set tooooo low. I came a couple times in the summer, when more than 100 degrees outside, I have to wear a coat inside the library otherwise I cannot stand more than one hour. It is October now, still too cold inside. I feel I may get sick after stay too long. It is not very environmental friendly; people are not comfortable.. Hope they understand we are not a bunch of vegetables need to stay in a cold environment to stay fresh.

Great library for studying and working and of course trying to find a book for yourself or the kid(s). There is a massive kids section, with stuff for all age ranges, and plenty of space to pull take a break and read for a bit with them before leaving. I've also found some really solid finds on the Friends of Dublin Library for sale rack and auction items. Definitely give those a look when walking in, can find some hidden gems!

Hidden behind Dublin Civic Center, Dublin Library is a super clean, well-organized wonderful gem and community resource. The Children's Library is massive in size. Has dedicated Disney Movies bookshelves area with multiple copies of the same movies. The furniture is sized for pre-schoolers and above. In the Adult side, there are lots of individual desks and large tables to spread out with chairs in every nook and cranny. Plenty of electrical outlets to plug in. In terms of foreign languages, there is a whole section dedicated to Chinese, Farsi, French, Hindi, Korean, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vienamese in terms of books, music and videos. While many people use the library throughout the day, except for Fridays when it's closed, this place is very quiet. The library offers Storytime, book club, Homework Club (free tutoring by high school student volunteers), knitting meet ups, meet a lawyer, and seasonal special events, etc. All free. Check the monthly online event calendar for latest schedule. Many of these library special programs and community events are funded by the Friends of the Dublin Library. They have a self-service bookstore on the right as soon as you walk in the library. They sell books, CDs and DVDs from the library donations that the Dublin Library receives from the community. There is a metal donation box on the shelf and as a "honor system" you put the cash or check in the box for what you purchase. Great resource to buy children's books especially- 50 cents each. Hardbacks are $1 each. Friends has a twice a year Used Books, CDs and DVDs Sale that always has great community turnout. Diaper Changing Table in the women's restroom. Parking lot is covered with solar panels to that also provides shades to the cars. There are EV charging parking slots.
