This is such a cute little park. There is a nice playground for kids as well as a ampitheater, walking trails and a fishing spot. Plenty of picnic tables and grills as well and 3 parking lots.

This is a great park for a walk, a family party, some fishing, or just some outside time. Certain areas get crowded on weekends, but mostly there is plenty of available space. (Larger pavilion areas should be reserved ahead of time.) The parking lots and access roads are in need of maintenance, but I understand that funding is needed for that. Overall a good time!

Beautiful park.  Nice paved trails for walking / running / light bike riding.  Nice playground for the kids, very nice pavilions for small gatherings cookouts.  Not legal to have them off-leash, but the dogs can swim below the dam without bothering anyone and I have yet to hear that anyone was hassled for it.

Pleasant scenery, playground, picnic area, and late open area for activities.  Very nice trails that run along the Raritan River.
