Using this company was a complete nightmare from beginning to end. They would show up mid morning work for maybe an hour and then take a 2+ hour lunch.  Our job was supposed to take 2-3 weeks but was OVER 6 weeks before it was done.  They tore off our old roof and all but disappeared. Every time we got rain our entire house filled up with water and it caused tons of damage!! We made several calls to the owner who always seemed uninformed and apologetic yet the workers never showed back up when they were supposed to!! Do yourself a favor and use ANOTHER COMPANY!!!!!

I spoke at length with Floyd and Debi Patterson about repairing my roof by replacing damaged shingles with new shingles of the same manufacturer and type.  A repair was all I clearly wanted.  Instead,they installed sub-standard roofing layment instead of shingles at all!  THEY EVEN  INSTALLED IT UPSIDE DOWN!  My roof looks horrible!  They refuse to return to install the shingles I authorized and paid them for.   They just keep insisting that I need a new roof for which would they would like to charge me in excess of $30,000...

Essentially by installing the sub-standard material instead of the shingles I authorized, they are trying to force my hand to permit them to install an entirely new roof which is unnecessary.

I would avoid them at all costs.  BUYER BEWARE

UPDATE:  In order to get this remedied I had no choice but to take them to small claims court.  I now have a judgement that they are to reimburse me my costs, but they still haven't paid the judgement!  It seems I'll be seeing them again in court...There is no end to their chicanery.

RESPONSE: I had a chance to see that Debi Patterson replied to my earlier review.  Her comments are twisted, not actually reflecting true events.  Three years later I would still stay away, there are other reputable roofers in town.

Durango Roofing is fabulous!  Their bid was extremely affordable and they completed the work on time and as promised.  James and his crew were outstanding and I couldn't be happier with the product and final result.  The roof looks fantastic.  I recommend this company 100% for their professionalism, quality of work and customer service.

We've had 2 roofs (on separate houses) put on by Durango Roofing and have been absolutely delighted with the service and the workmanship we were provided. We've never had any issues with any of the work and our shingle roof went through some relatively heavy snowfall last winter without a problem. Kudos to Durango Roofing for their professional products and services. Although I hope not to need another roof in the near future, I would use DR again and highly recommend them.
