Ain't no tree-shaped slide going to entice me into visiting here with my child again. If you are at all in-tune socially, you will immediately observe that his tone is nothing but sarcastic and his communication style is very condescending. I am not by any means a sensitive person so this would not typically bother me, but when it's for the care of children, you'd expect some level of kindness. It does not take an expert to notice that he is beyond disrespectful to parents and children alike. He undermined my concerns and requests and reprimanded my toddler quite aggressively. He is not gentle. Seems impatient and agitated. Maybe older children would have a better experience, but absolutely not for young kids. It is quite concerning that he specializes in pediatric dentistry. The receptionist is no better herself. They are the negative experience dream team. (The last thing you want for your child's dentist visit).

Dr. Evan is very professional, the office and environment are beautiful and friendly; and all the staff are amazing! I recommend going to Durham Kids Dentistry to all my friends and family!

I'm not sure why the negative reviews.  Both of my kids have been going to Dr. Zaretsky for quite a few years now & we have nothing but good things to say about him & his staff.

I've read these reviews after going to see Dr.Evans and all I can say in regards to them is someone must have been having a bad day, he was nothing but nice and supportive to our 5 year old daughter. Waiting is expected in any waiting room, there are always unforeseen emergencies. As for bedside manor he was nothing but aces in our books, my daughter felt like she was being spoken to like an adult and had no problem following all of his directions. He was amazing and the front desk employees went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable! My daughter left from her first dentist appointment happy and hoping to go back again :) thank you Dr.evan and team we appreciate your work!

My 4 year old daughter had to have a cavity filled here.  After having the work done she asked receptionist for a toothbrush.  The lady behind the desk was rude and told her no, it's only for people getting their teeth cleaned.  This is a Children's Dentist?  WOW, my 4 year old was so upset.
