A beautiful locale near Lake Wallowa...loved it! Enjoyed a nice soak in the outdoor hot tub surrounded by forest. Great room in the lodge and stunning surroundings. Can't wait to come back!

The rooms are pretty standard hotel rooms: two queen beds, a TV, and a sink outside the bathroom. It wasn't big, but there's enough space for at least four comfortably. The conference room is a nice addition if you need it. There are lots of chairs, and plenty of space for a small to medium group.

We were so impressed with this place. They close their office at 9 pm but waited until we arrived at 10:20 to give us our keys. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We only stayed one night and had to leave early the next morning but we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy this place more.

For $165 a night I expected more. At check in my room was not ready, then I was given the wrong key, the trashcan's for the chalets were right outside my window and over flowing with trash. The linen for the roll away bed appeared to be soiled, almost every dish needed to be washed before use because they had old food still on them. The pool was closed for an entire day of my stay with no explanation. On a positive note the majority of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area and things to do and see

Did not get to stay at Eagle Cap Chalets due to massive fires burning in Oregon and causing very unhealthy air quality. But I would like to point out what great customer service the front desk is in helping to accommodate short notice reservations and then having to cancel on short notice. Thank you, Joshua and Amanda. Will book again with you someday.
