We stayed in cabin 8 which did not have the breakfast included so I can't rate the food. The grounds were lovely and well kept, however the cabin itself was in need of repairs. The wall paneling was not secured properly and seemed to be coming away from the wall. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice screened in porch area overlooking the fire pit (wood provided.) There was a slight odor to the room. It's an average place to sleep if you don't mind the price and it is nicely located on the strip. I found it difficult to sleep with the music from bars nearby, but I imagine that is an issue found anywhere around this location. My fiance who made the reservations said Lu (the owner) was very nice and eager to please.

This bed and breakfast far exceeded our expectations! We did a last minute trip to Geneva on Memorial weekend. Our room was clean, comfortable bed, amazing breakfast, and the owners were so welcoming! The Eagle Cliff Inn was the best part of our trip! The cheesy, homemade hash browns that were hot and ready for breakfast were enough to make me come back!

My first trip to Geneva on the Lake. We stayed here at the Eagle Cliff Inn. Beautiful place, staff and owners very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful homemade breakfast. Not just a donut and be Ok of cereal here. Breakfast cassaroll, scrambled eggs, bacon , sausage, fresh warm muffins, and much more. What a great way to start the day!!! Looking forward to one more nights stay and another breakfast. I will deffinantly be coming back and staying here.!!! Thank You Jerry and Lu for your hospitality!!!!!

We stayed in cabin #6, cabins look decent if you don't mind the leaks from the roof, and musty smell. The ceiling by the fireplace looks ready to collapse. The room with 8 windows 2 single beds and a glass paned door limits any privacy. They claim to have Wi-Fi but we couldn't connect at all, spoke with the owners and they said they would fix but never did. Was glad to leave, for sure. Edited to reply to Luann, I never tried to rent into July, I never worried about any cancellation fee, I never toured the rooms, The leaky roof is the reason for the musty smell, the roof falling in the living room is not new, neither were the leaks. We did bring the problem with the leaky roof up to the owners, by the way they were not "new " leaks it was obvious the leaks were old by the way the wood ceiling looked. The gal that was with is never said cleaning wasn't necessary. I never gave any positive review on Airbnb at all. The wifi was not fixed to work in the entire building, the windows weren't the problem, the problem was the glass paned door into the room with no blinds.

Responding to michigangrowing review. Thank you for taking the time to review us, though please remember that your (suites #5 & #6) are brand new renovation. I am unaware of any musty smell...as all of guests state that Suite #6 has a new smell (all new carpet and furnishings). However, this was never brought to my attention, and we spoke with someone from your group everyday, even the owner of this business. As for no privacy, each window in the small room offers 2" Blinds, which you were aware upon touring the suite. I am unaware of lack of privacy. You requested cleaning, which you knew upon your reservation and confirmation that your apartment type suite is just that, not a hotel room, thus we do not offer cleaning service unless requested, at which we cleaned every other Monday. More so, for the rate you were charged (50%), we believe that cleaning every two weeks would suffice, especially since your gal said there was not need since she was doing the cleaning. I am so saddened with your review, as you stayed 2-full May / June months and did not complain one time other than the Wi/Fi was giving you a hard time. With this, we immediately called our Wi/Fi service, even purchased and installed a new modem (note that as you are aware, there are 6-modems throughout the property so that all guests have fast speed. We even contacted Time Warner /Spectrum to upgrade to their highest speed. Once we did place another modem, it was noted by your staff that the WI/Fi was fine except at one end of the Suite, at which we even fixed that. Please remember that each and every time you had a concern or issue, it was fixed IMMEDIATELY fixed, thus sad that you would give us such a low rating/review. I am also confused as to why you wanted to reserve July in the same suite (no availability) if it was not to you expectations? I'm sorry that we did not have the suite available for July as you had requested, though we did have availability, which you reserved and were confirmed most of July for the 4-rooms in the B&B, at which you then cancelled pretty much last minute since your office found the 4-of your a home. We're happy that you did find a house for the rest of July and wish you and your company the best. I guess I would end by stating that you are upset with the cancellation fee, thus gave us this review. You gave us a nice review with Airbnb after staying only one month.
