This is nice cozy bar. It has been a bar for many years. The staff was friendly and efficient. I had bloody Mary and it was good. I played some pool and tables were clean and good working order. You can not smoke in this bar. The location was convenient to my motel. The prices were good. My bloody Mary was just 5 bucks. I would recommend this bar. Thank for reading my review😀😀😀

I was incredibly frustrated and upset with my experience here. I turned 21 about 2 weeks before I came to the Eagles nest to try out their drive through liquor store. I am from Colorado, and legally speaking you have 3 weeks to renew your driver's license before it becomes invalid after your 21st birthday. However, your driver's license is valid as a form of identification proving you are over 21 for the weeks following your birthday until the expiration date. I know this because I have done the appropriate research to make sure I can buy alcohol until I get my license renewed, and have had my ID accepted at multiple bars and liquor stores in Colorado and Wyoming since by birthday with no problems. I pulled up to the Eagles nest today to make a purchase at the drive through. The woman that greeted me was gruff, but was fairly polite at first. I asked to purchase some hard cider, and she asked for ID, which I presented as normal. At that point, the woman running the register told me "I'm not going to serve you, you need to leave". I was confused, because my ID is legal. I asked her why she could not serve me, and she said it was because my ID is vertical, not horizontal. Legally speaking, the orientation of my ID doesn't matter as long as it is not expired and proves I am over 21. This information can be confirmed federally as well as on the states of Colorado and Wyoming websites. I made this point to the clerk, and she became defensive and rude, calling me "honey" and "babe" and telling me that my ID was not legitimate or legal as a way to confirm my age. After arguing with her for several minutes and repeatedly showing her the birthdate and expiration date on my ID, I finally decided to leave and give my money to a different liquor store. I was treated very rudely at the Eagles nest and will never go back because I was humiliated and disrespected. I would not recommend this liquor store to anyone, as there are plenty of other drive through liquor stores in Cheyenne that abide by the law and don't discriminate without any legal basis. The employees that I have interacted with at the Eagles nest are rude, uninformed of the law, and disrespectful, and do not deserve the business of the people of Cheyenne.

Absolutely the most rude bartender I have ever encountered. She is an older lady with dark hair who is smashed drunk by the time we normally get there around 4 to 5 pm. She favors regulars over new business and has a brash attitude while skipping past us and on to regular customers. Best bet is to wait until  630 when her shift is over. Nick on the other hand is an outstanding bartender and a gentleman.
