This is a great summer retreat. Steve and Gayle Main go out of their way towards hospitality at The Eagles Rest. The scenery if fabulous. Two lakes and a rives system provide quality fishing of most species.  The Eagles Rest docks provide the only fuel on the water way and super beneficial while boating. Highly recommend this experience. 10 year veteran of visits to the Eagles Rest.

Great private area. Peacefull and relaxing. The cabins are what they say. The owner is fantastic. Miles and miles of waterway to fish or play in.

Had one of the best weeks ever at Eagles Rest this summer with my friends and family. There is space for games (bocce, KanJam etc.,), the cabins are good enough, and the lake its beautiful. The only two knocks I have is that the dock is very unstable and unsafe (I'm still limping on a sprained toe because of it, and getting in and out of boats can be tricky for sure), and there is no longer a general store on site as seen on the website. Kind of a bummer, but there's a general store 11 minutes down the road so it's a small gripe I suppose.
We'll likely be going back.
