This is an RV park about 5 miles west of downtown Steamboat Springs. It is your basic RV park electric water and sewer. They have washer and dryers inside the women's restroom shower area. They are free but they ask for a donation. No pool no playground just a basic Park. The managers were very nice

Every site is pull-thru and easy to maneuver a big rig pulling a toad. They're thin sites but plenty long. It's flat, has electric (50/30), water, and sewer on every site with a little tree shade on each site. Two clean bathroom houses. The hookups could be positioned better. Bring extra hose (>25ft) if your hose bibb is toward the front. It's nice and dark at night. 3 campfire rings on common area with split wood provided on site. No lightpoles, only the stars and moon. Best price around Steamboat Springs.

New park so no large trees. They have quite a few planted but it will take years. There are restrooms but they appear to be prebuilt like little cabins. I can't report the conditions as we are fully contained. There are around 25 mostly level full hookup pull-through sites. They've really screwed up placement of the connections so you should be prepared to need extensions. I noticed a couple 5th wheels had to have a water hose that went entire length of the 70' site. There were several multi-dog campers who ignored the leash rules. We had one large bulky dog almost come in our motor home. We are not dog people and find this behavior rude and low class. It's not the fault of the owners but I felt they should have a more regular presence. The owners are a very nice couple who live on site 1. You won't meet nicer people. It's nice have another option in Steamboat Springs. We have always stayed at the KOA. This year it was absolutely teaming with kids from multiple groups. We don't mind kids but that was ridiculous. You couldn't get near the itty bitty pool. So we we're glad to find Eagle Soaring just a few miles down the road.

Wonderful campground. Terrific owners. Beautiful vistas. Strong internet provided, but it blocks all streaming. Only 27 sites, very private. I would give it five stars except the sites are too close one to another. Each site is separated by a few little trees and there is a patch of grass and gravel. Unfortunately there is not enough room between sites for a picnic table or fire ring. There is a very nice group area where you'll find tables and fire rings, though not once during my stay did I see anyone using them. Bathrooms are modern and clean.
