I'm giving this one star because zero is not an option. I called to see if there were any available rooms, and no one answered. I received a call back a few moments later, with a very rude woman asking me what I want so late at night, after the website advistising welcome anytime. She continued to yell and threaten me, while I tried to explain to her that her website listed the hotel as open all hours. She continued screaming and I hung up to avoid being further harassed. Avoid this place. I have never been treated so poorly in my life.

Visited her twice now  ... both times had issues with owner.. Although the property is nice and grounds are well kept up, cabin #6 is very cool as well but we won't be back. Made reservations for two nights @ $80 per night, at arrival price was changed to $100 per night (not cool). Was told had to increase everyone's prices because of damages , sorry not our problem. Discussed this with other guests, they were also dissatisfied. We feel owner scammed for extra $ knowing it would difficult and a hassle to get other accomodation on the spot. Also leaves threatening literature in cabins regarding the  toilets and a lack of septic service and if " it backs up ...you will pay up $$$" .... kind of low class. Love the Oscoda and Tawas area but will never stay here again ....too many other options along the coast.

Called to check availability on a room after reading on their website how they are available "any time"  they did not have hours of operation posted. I was screamed at and threatened with foul language because of the time in which I called. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Rudest and worst customer service I've ever encountered. AVOID at all cost!!! I couldn't imagine how poor my experience would have been if I had been able to stay.
