Story

East Georgia Regional Medical Center is a 149-bed, hospital featuring a Women’s Pavilion and an adjacent professional office building. Our healthcare team consists of approximately 600 employees and over 95 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. The expansion of medical services and an increase in professional staff, along with our investment in technology, has established East Georgia Regional Medical Center’s reputation for setting a higher medical standard. We offer a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, outpatient services including same day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain center, wound healing center, cardiac catheterization lab, and a state-of-the-art imaging department including Nuclear Medicine, MRI, 64 Slice CT, PACS and PET scans.
