My son really like this school. Some teachers show a great deal about the students.

I was class of 2015. Some of the faculty have favorites that get away with doing things everyone else wouldn't. Some students get in trouble/targeted more for very minor offenses which take away from those students education and set them up to fail

Education wise, students do get all the encouragement and resources required for a fine education. As a former student I can confirm this. The student body as well as the curriculum is diverse. There are multiple sports and there are multiple arts. For example there is a football team and a marching band club. There is also an arts class and cooking classes. There is a uniform which is in many students opinions, not that big of an issue. Discipline wise, teachers take your students respect and discipline seriously. They aren't too strick nor too soft. Majority's of the teachers do care, so much that if your student would fail they'll try to push your student to work hard so they do not fail. Most students are friendly but like any school, there are problematic children. By senior year students can choose any class they desire minus english. They could have an art class for every period. Seniors can be exempt from finals. Seniors can leave school early by 12:30 for work or as long as they completed 30 service hours which are required fo graduate. For a full year class students can only miss 20 days. For a half year class students can only miss 10. Doctor and parent notes can be used to excuse the missed days. Field trips or school events where your child misses school do not count as missed days. The lunch food is edible, not too bad nor too good.

As a student at this school, I feel like this school doesn't open your classes for what you want to do or who you want to be. They only give you classes to be required to graduate high school, and you don't have many options. Also as a student here, the kids are very nasty, so disrespectful and aren't desired to learn, if you want to go to a good school, DO NOT come to this school. It's like a prison.
