MISSION STATEMENT: The East Providence Public Library is a retreat and a place to connect to the world. The mission of the East Providence Public Library is to provide library resources and services which meet the educational, recreational and cultural needs of individuals and groups of all ages in the entire community, with special emphasis on listening, viewing, and electronic formats, and to develop a broad community awareness of, and encourage participation in, the library and its services. The library will maintain its strong commitment to the multi branch system in order to provide access at convenient hours and locations.
