The Friends Used Book Store is open! Located in the cubby by the “Hold” book racks in the lobby of the East Roswell Library, a cash lock box is available so everyone can buy a used book whenever the library is open. We do have a volunteer staff the Used Book Store on the following schedule:
Tuesdays — 12 Noon to 4 PM
Thursdays — 12 Noon to 4 PM
Saturdays — 12 Noon to 4 PM
Sundays — 2 PM to 5 PM

I came to this library maybe 2 weeks ago to make a copy of some documents. I walked right over to the copier and put in my money and placed the document on the scanner bed, pressed in the number of copies I wanted, made sure the paper tray was selected and pressed start. Nothing. I checked several times to see what was wrong. Keep in mind, I had just had surgery 1 week prior and was not feeling the best still. I walked over to the front desk and let one of the librarians know I needed help. I waited while she finished up with another patron. The entire time, she was smiling and engaging with them. When she finally got to me, the smile went out the window and when I explained what my issue is, she reluctantly got up from her seat and walked over to the copier, fiddled with it, it began to copy, then she just walked away. I replied "thank you"...nothing. If you don't like your job, seeing as it is focused on interacting with people, please go elsewhere. Your attitude is not needed.

The librarians are very helpful and kind!  Excellent library!
