I do not recommend this doctor. Like many neurologist, he chooses to try different medicines because he makes money off of them. If you want results to tests, plan on waiting at least a month or two because you are required to go in the office (again, probably due to making a profit); and most of the time he doesn't even remember you having the test done. Find a different neurologist, especially if you are looking for a diagnosis, because this one will not help you.

I love East tn Med group. They take good care of me and are so nice. All the Drs are great. I suffer migraines very bad. Dr .Butler is a great Dr to see for this chronic condition.

Rude nurses. Won't return phone calls. I've been waiting on epilepsy medicine for almost two weeks. They said others have been waiting for longer. Told us they are short staffed and don't have time to fax my prior authorization for my medicine.

A wonderful group of nurses and an awesome. Doctor.Took great care of me and my daughter sees him as well.

Don't go. On 3/15/16, My sister went to see him, sent by the VA. She has suffered from migraines since she was 12. She suffers from severe depression. She had a CT Scan at the VA, but they did not send the results to Dr. Butler. Per the VA she has enlarged blood vessels in her brain. He didn't bother to check. She has started stumbling a lot and she is falling a lot and has even been knocked out. Lately, she said she feels pressure behind her eyeballs that feels like they are being pushed out of their sockets. He didn't ask. He had tunnel vision on the headaches, period. When she disagreed with one of the medicines he was going to prescribe, he said, 'We won't waste each others time. Find another doctor.' Then he just walked out. She was devastated. I am afraid she has given up.
