Very nice quiet place, spacious RV spots, much like State Park. Nice tent spaces also. Pretty isolated, not many places to hike without driving somewhere.  They charge for showers ($5) and dump ($5), apparently county requires sceptic for RV be pumped out. Since Mt Rainier National Park is our reason for being here, we will probably not be back.

WARNING! The entire first night's payment IS YOUR DEPOSIT!!! We had to cancel our reservation and emailed over a month in advance to do so. The website does state that there is a nonrefundable deposit, however, it does not make clear what the deposit is.  The website states "A deposit will be taken at the time of reservation; two weeks notice of cancellation is required for a partial refund. Please Note: Reservation deposits are non-refundable." After reading this, and because I was canceling over a month in advance, I expected a partial refund of the $53 they withdrew from my account. I never received an email confirming my reservation cancellation and I hadn't received a refund, so I called about a week later. The lady (who was very nice) with whom I spoke informed me that the deposit was the entire first night's cost. I think that is completely ridiculous, especially considering I gave over a month's notice and they should have plenty of time to fill that spot with other campers. We are out over $50 simply because we had to cancel our reservation. This feels extremely punitive and out of the ordinary for cancellation policies. Eastcreek might be a nice place, but they need to SERIOUSLY reconsider this policy.

Owners Phil and Jenny were very friendly, receptive and accommodating.  The campground was clean, safe and quiet and of course beautiful, with old growth trees preserved to canopy the tent site i was in.  showers/bathrooms clean.  I went hiking in Rainier, a quick ride to the east, on a day when rain was expected. I came back to see my gear wrapped in plastic "just in case it rained" ...a very kind gesture and over and above what I have experienced at a campground. very personal feel, thanks East Creek! :)

Wonderful place to car camp and go hike a Mt Rainier. It is quiet  and extremely peaceful and very well kept. We will return!

Haven't been here in several years but this is the best place I've ever been camping. Owners are very nice!
