This was my third visit to Eastwind, the First after access had been granted to the Gorge after the Eagle Creek fire. My husband and I had lunch and the food was as awesome as ever. Thick homemade shakes, juicy burgers and crispy, salty fries. There is no inside seating but there are picnic tables and a view of the Columbia River. It's just a short drive from the Portland area, but a world away from the busyness of urban madness.

I cannot recommend this establishment more. I just finished a cross country 2200 mile six day journey. In 8 states I found no food more satisfying or of higher quality for the dollar. This stand is exactly what you expect and It is exactly what you want.

Here is my motto. If there is a line, you better check it out. Best choice of the day. 15 in line with constant drive up traffic for ice cream in the end of October! Can't say anything about the rest of the menu, but the serving size of the small swirl was larger than any DQ serving. Worth the stop and will be staple in the Gorge.

Always a wait, but worth it for the "ice cream and park" experience for the kids. I remember coming here with my family when I was young. Was cool to see my kids enjoy it as well. Definitely stop by for their large swirl cone!

Great place. Fries Are Awesome. With regard to ice cream cones the small is like a large the medium a very large and the large good Lord bring a friend. But they're awesome
