Extremely friendly barman and owner. Best food ever if you like schnitzel, Indian food, fish and chips, burger, asian food, Flamkuchen, and what ever. Cool owner who has a very interesting successful history as a DJ. He is well known in the city and has a good relationship with Sven Vaeth. Therefore, the whole evening very good music! And his wife is the very best chef cook with fantastic ideas for food preparation. Vegetarian options: A great menu with vegetarian food!
Really friendly barman who went out of his way to make me feel welcome as a lone traveller to Frankfurt. I wanted Malbec, but he didn't have any so let me try some wines until I found one I liked. I liked that he took the time to do that. I had flamkukken which was delicious. I then had the apple tiramisu, this was amazing! Worth making a trip from London to Frankfurt to have this. Also, having apples in it it should count towards your five a day! I leave Frankfurt on Tuesday evening so I will definitely be back before I return to Blighty.
Great food. Was pleasantly surprised the Indian thali tasted so authentic. Friendly service in a relaxed warm atmosphere
Wonderful patio, friendly staff, and yummy food. Highly recommended.
This little restaurant had a casual and cozy atmosphere, well suited for taking your time, and for relaxing and chatting over a meal, and enjoying the art and decor, rather than for a quick meal. The menu had a good assortment of cuisines, such as Thai and Indian, as well as traditional German food, so there is likely something for every taste. The food was prepared nicely, and the vegetables and fish were fresh. Their salads were especially good.
Cozy, warm atmosphere, nice personnel, good food and beer ... why 3 stars then? After ordering, waiting for half an hour or more for the first dish, and then waiting too long again for the second, and then again for the dessert which should be easy to prepare, isn't it? ... and serving only white bread ... and I can't stand music in restaurants, even at low volume
AAWWEESSOOMMEE FOOD! Wow..... For me it was the best experience in Frankfurt!!!
Excellent location and great varieties of food!
The restaurant has a great vibe with wonderful jazz music. The service is high quality as are the drinks but the food is a little lack luster. If you can't handle lots of smoke, don't sit near the cigar room because although it's closed off, people go in and out a lot and it's disruptive to your meal and fun.
A wonderful restaurant right off the Ubahn stop. I walked by this restaurant several times but never went in. The outside looks a little rundown but once you step through the doors you quickly realize this is not the case. The funk decoration is fun and the outdoor patio is wonderful. I had the catch of the day which was a delicious trout in almond butter with an amazing salad. My husband had the curry. The cocktails are delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be going back.
