Good, hearty, homey, amazing! And quick! A must try. Still enjoying that pita.
Food was delicious and served up super-quick! We caught our train then had an amazing meal. $10-$12 would be on the expensive side if it wasn't located on the Grand Central dining level. Though I am 100% satisfied with the price paid: the food alone was worth it
I don't understand the bad review. The Best Bang for you buck at Grand Central. The Mixed Grill Dish has two kinds of meats, salad, humus, rice and Pita. A huge meal by fast food standards. All ingredients are fresh and the food is delicious. By the way the staff is not rude. I want the best bang for buck and a great tasty meal, order the Mixed Grill.
Really good! I had the chicken gyro entree, I wish there was some sort of sauce on it however I think they had the sauce I just didn't ask. It also came with hummus and a pita. Friendly and quick service. Expensive but I think it's worth it since it's in Grand Central and it was convenient for me.
I'm Mediterranean, so this place is facing a tough reviewer, but it stacks up pretty well. The pita here is perhaps the freshest and softest I've seen in the city. I had mine pita with chicken breast, and it was really good. All pitas come with your choice of meat, plus they add in some hummus and a salad. Overall, really good.
Best falafel in new york city. Get the veggie plate totally delicious and clean food. Friendly staff. Ive been eating here for 15 years totally enjoy my meal every single time.
Delicious and fresh. Chicken is very tasty. Great for a quick lunch.
This place is great! The falafel is moist and tasty, and the tahini sauce is perfect. The "platters" are huge – they come with really delicious hummus, shredded cabbage slaw, a side of beets, and tabouli that tastes really fresh. The pita bread is the perfect accompaniment to the rest of the meal. It's a lot of food for a good price. This place is my go-to when I'm hungry at GCT. Highly recommend!
The food was UNSEASONED. The Tahiti sauce,no seasonings. Couscous DRY. falafel tastes like it was made with cornbread like stuffing and is missing an ingredient. Pita sandwich wrap was decent, had better. But the place was clean and they werefast and efficient.
I watched an employee, who I think is an owner/manager, drop food on the floor, then pick it up and put it in with the rest of the food. He thought noone saw him since there was noone in line. However, I was riding up the escalator next to the store and watched it happen clear as day. Disgusting! I've ordered food from here in the past and the place seemed to be clean, well maintained and the food was good. But after watching that, never again!
