left with an exceptional haircut. Stylist/barber that was there that day was on point. Likely to never go again since I dont live anywhere near but based on initial experience I was very pleased w service and cut.

Ashley rocks like no one I’ve ever seen! She has hands of gold and a heart full of love!!! I walked in to Echo with blue/black hair and wanted to go blonde. I know the process will take numerous visits But Ashley concurred exactly what I wanted in two visits a week apart!!! Ashley is absolutely phenomenal !!! Her dedication to make her clients happy is simply amazing, her energy to make sure you know step by step what your hair is going through keeps you at ease. Absolutely Love Ashley!! UPDATE: 
I have to amend my review of this salon. The is NOT  the worst salon in fort Lauderdale, but Ashley is THE WORST HAIRDRESSER IN FORT LAUDERDALE. she has ruined my life. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but as a bartender, my looks play a big factor when dealing with the public and she made me look horrible. I look like a little boy that took a pair of scissors to his own hair. People look at me differently. Everyone from guests to my boyfriend. Every time I look in the mirror it is a mixture of anger, disbelief, and disgust. She has cost me money and time (I'm making less tips and it takes me up to 2 hours to try to look presentable) This girl should never be allowed to touch a pair of scissors, or be allowed to have a license.

 I really hate giving negative reviews but in good conscience. I hate to let people know that this is the WORST salon in fort Lauderdale. I purchased a Groupon (probably my first mistake) for a haircut and style. I did my research and I found a bunch of positive 5 star reviews. I saw some pics and it looked promising. I called to make an appt and I specifically asked for someone who knows how to cut short hair. (it is truly a skill to be able to cut/style shirt hair bc it is unforgiving). Anyway, the reception said the person she made the appt with is very good with short hair. Well that was a bold face lie! When i arrived, I was told that Ashley will be there shortly. I asked for a look book or some pics of her precious pics of clients. She told me she had an Instagram, so I looked thru it. It seemed legit (although alot of it was personal pics). So I decided that I will go ahead with the appt. Well this was the worst decision. Ashley rushed in about 10 mins late. No big deal I had time. She greeted me and sat me in her chair. We discussed what I want done and showed her pics of what I wanted. (it really was not that different for what I had) I just really need my hair "shaped". I got washed and then she started cutting and continued to cut until it was too late. She kept cutting the back and "explaining" why she was cutting what she was cutting. I keep seeing all this hair falling and started getting nervous. After about 20 mins, I asked her why she is cutting off the sides (the one part I could see) age explained to me that I have a cowlick and she had to "cut it to make it fall right." I stopped her and felt the back and I WAS SCALPED! She cut off the entire back of my hair and it was completely uneven! You can even see scalp in some parts! I told her not to cut anymore and that I was not happy but there was nothing I could do about it now. She kept apologizing and I just said I had to go. I was in tears. Now I have to walk around with the most hideous haircut. I didn't even want to leave my house. I called the owner and he apologized, but it was too late. So do yourself a favor, DON'T EVER GO TO THIS SALON (or at least let Ashley cut your hair).

Christina Colandrea is an amazing stylist and colors beautifully. She is patient, super sweet and have been going to her for 7 months. Recommend her highly.
