I really like the clinic and have been using them for years. Nice staff. Great Hours. Affordable prices. Dr. Shaw may not be warm and fuzzy but he is thorough and knowledgable and good with his patients. The premises though is very bare bones and nothing is computerized which is why I took off a star. But no complaints from me. That's what helps keep the prices down.

Having read the most helpful reviews on here, I can think of one reason why most people think the staff here is friendly while I do not. Anyway, as of today, I interacted with two nice gentlemen (a vet and a vet tech) and one very rude and impatient female vet tech. The female vet tech spoke quite condescendingly to both me in person and my partner on the phone (who, unbeknownst to her, is also an experienced vet tech), did not bother to ask me if I was familiar with any techniques for administering the prescribed antibiotic (I am a first-time indoor cat owner), and seemed to want more than anything for me to hurry up and just leave. The male vet tech was the most professional and understanding, though he seemed tired and a little cranky. The vet, while friendly, seemed reluctant to tell me the costs of his recommended treatments and failed to communicate the chain of command in the clinic, which delayed my finishing up the transaction. There is nothing "low-cost" about their prices (I paid $60 for the antibiotic, which is sold elsewhere for $20 or less), but the facility is low-tech and low-maintenance, albeit spacious. Bottom line: I won't be going back if I can help it. I got far less than what I paid for.

I love dr. Shaw. He is so good to my cat arnold. He is very friendly and explains everything in detail, not just in medical terms, reasonably priced. Most vets charge 50 plus just to be seen. Here it is half the cost! The staff is also very nice and helpful!! Its not a glamorous place but its spacious and they get you in and out.

Dr. Shaw is the best, very caring of my little schnauzer. Very friendly staff. Had my dog there for surgery and Dr. SHAW did a good job at a reasonable price. I would recommend this vetenarian to anyone.

I am very happy with Dr. Shaw and The Edgebrook Clinic. It isn't a fancy place but it is a friendly place with good service. Good techs. Prices are quite reasonable - And most important DR. SHAW IS A VERY GOOD veterinarian doctor.
