This place is the definition of serendipity, and was one of the highlights of our recent visit to Denver. Let's just say that it would be hard to find a more interesting and diverse assortment of shopping and food options. We spent a couple of leisurely hours window shopping, and ended by ordering vegan food with origins from three continents Africa, South America, and Europe. Definitely worth a special visit on your next trip though Denver. Vegetarian options: Excellent selection of many vegetarian and vegan food options, in a wide range of styles.
There are so many options to choose from here. Each good spot specializes in specific items and you can get a wide variety from pizza to chicken sandwiches to sliders. They have a large bat with plenty of drink options and some tasty desserts available like chocolate chip cookies. Plenty of seating and we'll decorated. There's also some shops behind the restaurants if you want to pick up a few items. Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the pizza, burgers, and chicken tenders.
Cool spot to hangout with friend and family. Right across from Sloan Lake which is perfect place for food and drink after explore the lake. We enjoy various food this place got to offer. They offer all type of cuisines. The rock n lobster place closed permanently unfortunately, but it was always our go-to. Rogers cocktail lounge does make really good drink.
If you’re at the edgewater marketplace you MUST go to these three places 1 GLADYS vegan restaurant 2 AREPAS HOUSE 3 STALK MARKET CO. A plant store Gladys is my favorite place to go for Vegan food! The chef has a true talent of making great, healthy, vegan food that makes you go back for seconds. The menu is constantly changing to be better, and so that you always have something new to try. I can’t recommend this place enough. The marketplace in general has a great vibe and atmosphere. I believe everyone should experience it.
Awesome selection of places to eat. Bar has great drinks. There is a lot of seating outdoors and inside. I had empanadas and a crepe. A lot of the menus had fried / indulgent food, but many veggie options available.
We just wandered through the Edgewater Public Market to check it out. It is a super cool space that offers a huge variety of restaurants, breweries, local retail space, and personal services like a barber and tattoo parlor. The space is open and inviting and is a lot of fun to just hang out there. Parking: Parking lot was large and easy to navigate Wheelchair accessibility: All areas were wheelchair accessible
Wonderful food court. This would be a great place to go with a group, have everyone be able to go choose their own special meal and meet to eat together. It has a lot of tables though and can be noisy. Every kind of food from vegan to Ethiopian to Venezuelan Arepas to pizza or ice cream. I ate at Gladys and loved it. The quieter tables are down the hall. The market also has some delightful shops, including one where you can refill your own containers with all kinds of soaps and other things. Wish there was something equivalent in other parts of the Denver area, as well as back home in Michigan
Awesome market! My #1 favorite since we moved near the Sloans lake area! I usually go here with my dog while I’m on my hoverboard and stop here for a bite to eat while at Sloans. Very friendly atmosphere, great ambience, and most importantly, great food options especially Arepas House [Photo 8 of 16] ! Awesome food staff, PLENTY of seating available and great shops! All in all, I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this market!
A great meal- Ethiopian fare at its finest. Many other choices from burgers to pizza and gyros to ramen. Loved the New Zealand style creamery for dessert. Extremely loud and crowded on a Friday night but fun
I came to the Edgewater Public Market yesterday for the first time and tried Ethiopian food at Konjo’s for the first time. It was sensational—a harmonious blend of savouriness, saltiness, spiciness, and most of all, sourness. The anti-utensil zealotry is well founded when you have such a perfect tool as the “injera”, the flat bread by which and with which you eat your meal. While it was a bit like Indian food, it was undoubtedly a great cuisine in its own right.
