Edgewood Gallery is a custom frame shop and art gallery that has been in business since 1989. The gallery concentrates on mostly regional artists who have achieved an expertise in aesthetic and use of materials. The custom frame shop offers conservation framing including artcare acid free/rag matting, uv filtering glass, and artcare backing at very competitive prices. The philosophy being if it's important enough to frame, you don't want it degrading from light or materials in contact with the piece.
Edgewood also tries to support artists as much as possible. There is a permanent framing discount to all artists, and lower commission taken from art sales than other galleries; believing that artists should be more generously supported.
