It tries hard to be sophisticated. For example white match hot chocolate and gluten free cakes etc. While I don't dock points for that kind of thing. I will dock points for high price and bland flavor. I ordered hot chocolate and it's really crappy especially for the price. The food is hipster style, first thing you see is gluten free. The food isn't that good either. Improve the flavor and drop the price. They talk a big game but can't play it.

This is the most cozy, calm and peaceful place you can stay. They make us feel like at home, their modern and authentic rooms are incredible. Everything is new, in the heart of downtown and attached with the delicious Edison's coffee shop, thanks again to all the welcoming employees.

Set in the heart of Stratford, within easy walking distance of the theatres, a welcoming place to stay. The room was delightful, a home away from home, clean, beautifully furnished and well appointed. The bathroom well laid out with a well lit makeup mirror over the sink, was spotless. Breakfast in the adjoining cafe, a wonderful start to the day with superb coffee and pastries, including splendid gluten-free offerings. Lunch? Equally delectable. Looking forward to the next visit.

Places like these deserve more than five stars. We stayed here one night, in the Cafe Suite, only because more nights weren't available while we were in town. What can I say, Bruce and Sean were absolutely superb hosts. The room was spotless and oozed charm. It was incredibly equipped, very well suited to the modern traveller, and in a location you'd be unlikely to better. This is our top pick in Stratford, and if we could beam the rooms and service to other cities we visit, it would be our top pick there too. The one problem with the Edison Inn is that you want to tell the world about it, while at the same time keeping it your own little secret. A blue chip stay like few others.

My favorite new spot to have a coffee. The staff is wonderful and the coffee is amazing. Their food is so tasty and there's always something different.
