About Beauty salon Story Salon Estetica opened the 1st salon 17 years ago in 1994 on Veterans Blvd. in Metairie, La. Our success in that location prompted our move in 1997 to a larger salon on Severn Ave., also in Metairie, La. Hurricane Katrina destroyed the salon in 2005. The Mother/Daughter team Lauretta Moore and Chelsea Bono were both residents of the Northshore, Mandeville, and decided to re-open there in 2007. Salon Estetica takes pride in the continued service to our clients from the greater New Orleans area as well as the Northshore. Our specialty at Salon Estetica is haircutting and color services using the most innovative and state of the art products including Loreal, Rusk, Aquage and Redken.
