About Espresso, Wine Bar & Restaurant Story Tucked in the foothills of Mt. Rainier, we are a Restaurant & Espresso/Wine Bar with Live Music, Special Events & Catering. Most people say the Merc reminds them of a place they once knew and loved and a place where they feel known and loved. We can't ask for more than that! · Our Fair Trade, Organic Espresso is from a local Roaster called Rococo Coffee Roasting. We've been told it is the best coffee in town...we love that. · Our Specialty is sustainable and unique wine & beer from the Pacific Northwest and other parts of the world. Every Wednesday & Thursday night we have Wine Tastings from a variety of wineries, both local and global. Join our mailing list so you will have the insiders scoop on our wine tasting schedule and pricing. · Our Daily Menu is the awesome creation of Chef Chad Bergman. Our Catering Menu is created by our Executive Catering Chef, Ky Loop. Our beloved and reputable chefs use the finest ingredients to amuse and delight your pallet. We offer lunch, dinner and everything in between. We value the importance of high-quality food, clean labels and alternative diets. We offer Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Vegetarian, & Vegan options in our menu, whenever possible, without compromising taste. Lunch starts daily at 11am & dinner is daily at 4:30pm. · Our live music includes booked Bands/Musicians on Friday and Saturday nights. We welcome a variety of genres and, quite frankly, have booked some amazing talent! Jazz, Bluegrass, Coffee Rock, Country, Indie, Cowboy Poetry...we're not afraid to do it all.
