About We are a family owned business that opened in September of 1999. We have a love and passion for dogs/cats and a desire to share our knowledge with pet owners. We have been breeding, training and competing with our Dalmatians for over 17 years. Story 18 years ago, we opened PET Essentials with a dream, hope, love & a mission: “To provide quality and reasonably priced pet supplies to dog & cat owners with knowledgeable caring assistance resulting in an educated and satisfying buying decision. (directly from our mission statement 1999). It is with a saddened heart that we have to announce, after 18 years of serving the Charlotte pet community that we are closing PET Essentials on September 30, 2017. Thank you to all our loyal customers that have been with us from the very beginning (Stonecrest) and to all of our customers that we have gathered through the years; we have loved caring for you, your family & your pets. We have considered you all family!
