About Founded in 1991, Matthew Marks Gallery represents twenty-five European and American artists of different generations. Story The gallery handles work in all media, including painting, sculpture, photography, film, video, drawing and printmaking. The gallery maintains five exhibition spaces totaling more than 18,000 square feet where thirteen to fifteen exhibitions are presented each year, many of which are accompanied by publications. In January 2012, Matthew Marks Gallery opened a location in Los Angeles.
