About This is the official Facebook page for the Southbury Police Department. For emergencies, dial 911. To report non-emergency police matters call 203-264-5912. Story The Town of Southbury participates in the Connecticut State Police Resident Trooper Program to provide police services to the town. State Police Sgt. Van Ness supervises the resident trooper program in town. Four Police Corporals and seventeen patrol officers respond to all police emergencies within town. These officers are full-time officers, certified by the Connecticut Police Academy and have received specialized training in such areas as accident reconstruction, DARE, crime prevention techniques, and criminal investigation techniques.
