About veterinary hospital Story Bentley Animal Hospital in Huntsville, AL was established in 1960 by Dr. Robert Bentley. Since then we have earned a reputation for respect, caring, and understanding. In 1998 Dr. Eric Hulsey took ownership of the practice, keeping the name out of respect for Dr. Bentley and the community. In 2001 we moved operations to our current location, to better serve our clientele and to provide a more modern standard of care for our patients. Dr. Robert Skidmore, a former assistant to the doctors, began practicing here in 2001. Then in 2002, Dr. Audry McDade began her practice with us. Together, our doctors lead a staff with over 200 years of combined experience in animal care. We provide on site diagnostic tools, a well equipped surgical facility, and a spacious lobby so that your visit is quick and comfortable. It is our continuing goal to provide the best service to our clients and the best care to our patients.
