About Mental Health Association of New York City is a non-profit that addresses mental health needs in NYC and across the nation. It is a local organization with national impact and has a three-part mission of advocacy, education and mental health services. Mission To change attitudes and shape policies about mental illness; to improve services and facilitate access and treatment for children and adults with psychiatric disabilities; promote mental health wellness with early detection and innovative direct service programs to help those in need lead productive lives in their homes and communities.
