About Our primary goal is to provide for the safety of your children this summer. In so doing, we will create a highly Christian and moral environment, conducive to learning, fun, and full of recreational activities. Story The program, now in its 33rd year, will again be directed by Mr. Carlos Barquín who has been at Belen Jesuit since 1969. He is currently the Athletic Director and Track & Field Coach. Mr. Barquín has worked with summer camps since 1969. He was Camp Director for the International Y.M.C.A. and the Southwest Y.M.C.A. He directed the Big Five Club summer camp from 1979 to 1983, and in 1984 founded the Belen Jesuit Summer Camp.
