Story We moved from the Seattle area to Poulsbo / Kitsap Peninsula in 1998, and built this lovely, custom home. It was our primary residence for nine years before we purchased the adjacent 5 acre, waterfront, estate property and built our current home. Our only regret is that we didn't move out here and build our dream home years earlier. It truly depicts this wonderful part of the country, with everything at your fingertips, while having the beautiful city of Seattle and the Puget Sound with all of its amenities within a short, relaxing Ferry ride or drive. The Hood Canal Recreation Area is one of the most unique bodies of water in the United States. You will experience some of the most breathtaking views of Mountains, Forestland, Waterfowl, Sea life, and topography anywhere in the country. One of our most enjoyable benefits, is the abundance of fishing, shellfish, crabbing, and overall beach combing this unique area provides. But most of all, just the ability to relax, and take in all of this from one of the many covered porches in the Hood Canal Grand Cottage, with a cup of fresh roasted coffee, our one of your favorite spirits. The layout of this lovely home's gathering areas, brings families together and allows them to experience a togetherness we all need more of in today's busy times.
