About The inn is in the "Lost Sierra" mountains. Our charming village provides an authentic backdrop for a wonderful page in your life. Two hours to Reno, Sacramento, or Chico make us close enough to visit and remote enough to retain our character. Story Knotty-pine paneling takes you back to before the invention of plastic "wood" and vinyl. Hand-made quilts and piles of pillows invite you to snuggle down and relax. Mission We strive to provide quality lodging at an affordable price. As innkeepers we feel it is our responsibility to assist our guests find what they came here to find. Downieville is a world class destination and it is our purpose to contribute to our fullest potential. Products We have 2 rooms with a queen bed, and move up to a 2-room suite with other sizes in between. There is a work station as well a storage locker for bikes. Covered parking is also available for motorcycles. Breakfast is provided in a community room each morning. Our inn is within walking distance to most features of Downieville.
