About An Egalitarian Conservative Jewish Congregation, welcoming and unique, come see why Shaare Torah has become the synagogue of choice for many in our community. Story Shaare Torah is an egalitarian congregation dedicated to the Jewish ideals of tradition (Masoret), acts of kindness (Hesed), and community (Kehillah). In 15 short years we have forged a welcoming, vibrant and passionate conservative synagogue community. Mission As a small congregation, we have much closer personal ties. Our members invest in friendships. As a young congregation, we are more dynamic. Our activities easily expand to meet new interests. As an involved congregation, we have very high levels of participation. Our leaders personally ensure that members are never out of touch. As a learning congregation, we focus on personalized programs. Our religious school classes are intimate and our adult education tailored to individual interests. As a progressive congregation, we make Jewish law and custom more engaging. Our synagogue balances the practices of Conservative Judaism and the issues of the world around us. As a youthful congregation, we go further to promote fitness and health. Our sports program strengthens the body much as our worship services strengthen the spirit. And, as a growing congregation, we have an unbroken string of accomplishments. Our membership celebrates each new event and every new member. It is apparent that our recipe is appealing -- create a traditional Jewish atmosphere, add a family-friendly orientation, mix in energetic leadership, and make it personal and approachable.
