About Sheffield Township Volunteer Fire Department Story We are just a volunteer department with about 20 active members and 6 social members. We have women and men, young to old on our department, but when we're together, we work as a team, and as a family to save your house, save your car and take the sick person to the hospital with the best of care we can provide. We are made up of 7 pieces of apparatus: Engine 361-First out for Fire and EMS calls. Engine 371-First out heavy rescue for all MVA calls. Tanker 372-Second out for all Fire calls. and Mutual Aid fire calls. Rescue Squad 379-First out Squad ALS/BLS Equipped Grass Unit 363-First Out Grass Unit Mini Pumper 362-Second out Grass Truck. Squad 369-Back up/Reserve Squad.
