About We are an enduring community drawn together to seek, celebrate, and proclaim by word and example the boundless compassion of Jesus Christ. Story Established in 1742 as a “Chapel of Ease for the Forest Inhabitants” then living in the area, St. Thomas’ Church is a beautiful, historic building on 52 acres of land, and has remained in service to this community and the broader metropolitan area for more than 260 years. Each Sunday, more than 250 people from varied walks of life and religious backgrounds gather together to worship and celebrate. Mission St. Thomas’ is a vibrant church community in Owings Mills, Maryland. We are on a journey together toward faith in God through Jesus Christ and we invite you to join with us.
