About Full-service veterinary clinic in the French Quarter Story Pet Care Center Esplanade is a full service veterinary clinic located on the corner of Esplanade Ave. and Burgundy in the beautiful, historic French Quarter. We are directly linked to our main clinic in Metairie which is an AAHA accredited, state-of-the-art 24/7 emergency hospital as well as pet resort and spa. The Esplanade location also offers, grooming and Doggie Daycare. Dr. Claire Scott, was born and raised in the bayous of Houma, Louisiana. She attended Nicholls State University and Louisiana State University. Dr. Claire received her Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from LSU. She later received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined Pet Care Center in 2012, and works at our French Quarter location where she loves being a part of the local community. She has special interests in internal medicine and small animal nutrition. Dr. Claire is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Claire lives in New Orleans with her husband, Steven, and three mutts, Eva, Hazel, and Millie. During her free time she enjoys running and dining out in New Orleans.
