At Aveda, we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility, not just in the world of beauty, but around the world. ~Horst Rechelbacher, Founder Mission Top Education = Top Awards ----------------------------------- Each year in the salon and spa industry two coveted awards are given to cosmetology and esthiology students who show promise to excel in the business of beauty. In the past year, Aveda Institute students have won both. A team of Aveda Institute students won first place in the Edwin Neill Full Potential Awards competition held in August. The students submitted before and after photos of hairstyles (winning look pictured) along with essays on the method for their creations. Aveda Institute students also won 35 of the 100 Beacon Awards awarded in 2007.
