About Welcome to the University Club at the University of Iowa! Story Serving the Iowa City area for over 50 years, the University Club (formerly the University Athletic Club) provides Iowa City and the University of Iowa with an exceptional gathering place for business and social functions. Long noted for its consistently excellent food and attentive service, the Club features a large dining room serving lunch and dinner 5 days a week, Sunday brunch and special gourmet dinners. Whether you are planning a departmental or corporate event or special family celebration, we have a variety of spaces to accommodate your needs. During the summer months the UC is the place to relax with your family. Heat up with a tennis match, and then take a dip in the 6-lane Olympic style pool. The UC is adjacent to Finkbine Golf Course.
