About The State Library advocates for Iowa libraries and promotes excellence and innovation in library services in order to provide statewide access to information for all Iowans. Story The State Library - Main Library is located on the corner of E. 12th St. and Grand Avenue. Parking is located behind the building. The State Library - Law Library, located in the Capitol, has visitors' parking lots in various areas around the Capitol.
