About Body Mechanix Physical Therapy of Escanaba is a privately owned physical therapy clinic in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Story Our trained and licensed staff - including physical therapists and physical therapy assistants take a one-on-one approach to helping individual overcome painful conditions and physical issues that restrict movement. We have created a friendly atmosphere with private treatment rooms to maintain confidentiality. We develop individual treatment programs, designed to proceed at a pace that's comfortable for each client, with our staff providing encouragement all along the way. Direct access to physical therapy is now available in Michigan. Physician referral is no longer required for physical therapy for 10 visits or 21 days, whichever occurs first. However, your insurance company may require physician approval beyond your initial evaluation. We are more than happy to assist you in this process. Body Mechanix accepts referrals from any doctor and participates in all insurance programs.
